Neakasa M1 or M1 Plus Says Bin Full After a Bag Change?
A fresh bag is in place, but your Neakasa M1 or M1 Plus still shows a full-bin warning. Check how the liner sits, especially at the four corners: uneven material can trigger the full-bin sensor.
The useful question is whether the warning disappears when you remove the new bag. That observation helps you choose between refitting the liner and checking the sensor. Follow these checks for the M1 and M1 Plus.
1. Check the contents
Pull out the waste bin and check the bag. If it is full, replace it promptly. If the bag is new and empty, move on to its position.
2. Remove and smooth the new bag
Take the new bag out and check whether the full-bin prompt remains. If the prompt disappears, smooth the liner before putting it back. Work around all four corners so they lie flat, rather than smoothing only the middle.
Refit the liner before returning the machine to normal use.
3. Check the sensor if the warning remains
If the full-bin prompt persists, pull out the waste bin and wipe dirt from the sensor at the bottom with a clean paper towel.
Still seeing the warning? Follow the Neakasa M1 troubleshooting guide or the Neakasa M1 Plus FAQ to contact support for your machine. Include the warning and what happened when you removed and refitted the bag.
Why does my Neakasa M1 or M1 Plus say the bin is full when it’s empty?
An uneven liner can trigger the full-bin sensor even when the bin is empty. Remove the bag and check whether the warning clears. If it does, smooth the liner and all four corners before refitting it. If the warning remains with the bag removed, pull out the waste bin and wipe dirt from the sensor at the bottom with a clean paper towel.
